Our Purpose
It is the purpose of the North Carolina College of Theology (Main Campus) to provide continued educational programs to our students who are unable to attend fulltime classes on the Main Campus. This can be accomplished through our external studies program. We believe that we offer the finest Christian education abailable in a streamlined fashion.
We have purposely abbreviated our requirements for graduate and post-graduate degrees in an effort to hold the tuition to a minimum and allow the busy Pastor ample time to complete his desired area of study. Our experienced staff and faculty have labored untiringly over textbooks and materials for a long time, separating arduous minor information from major academic information. We think as you review the various programs you will see we have streamlined the supporting areas of study by fiving you the same necessary information in less reading and research materials. It is our position that the same information can be learned and retained by reading one book instead of three, providing it is the right book.

What We Believe
We are a fundamental, evangelical, Bible believing school; and we believe that the canonized King james Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God. We accept that the Bible is God's instruction manual for life and that it is not open to any single or denominational interpretation, but that it is written to all mankind.
It is our belief that God created the earth and the universe in six literal days, and that Jesus Christ is the son of God, born of a virgin. We believe that He died on the cross at CAlvary, but that He arose from the dead three days later and now sits at the right hand of God as our High Priest and intervenes on our behalf to the Father for our sins. We further believe that He will be returning for us and that we shall reign inHeaven for eternity with Him. Finally, we believe that all nonbelievers will be sentenced to a burning hell for eternity.
A Word About Accreditation
If your sole purpose of needing an education is for the Gospel Ministry or a related field within Christian ministry, secular accreditation is not necessary or required. All Christian chruches accept quality Christian education regardless of which accreditation group, if any, the school is with. If you are studying for other than the ministry, to become a business administrator, engineer, lawyer, etc., make sure that the school at which you are going to study belongs to a reginalaccrediting association. In secular education, regional accreditation is essential. For education of these in Christian service, secular accreditation does little other than making the tuition beyond the reach of most ministers.
However, the North Carolina College of Theology has been able to secure full accreditation through Southern Accrediting Association of Christian Schools (717-854-1077).
We have been able to secure this private accreditation and keep our tuition costs at a minimum. We are proud to be associated with these accrediting institution for Christian schools in the United States and abroad.
